Xylitol pastilles contain 92 %-wt. of xylitol and calcium phosphate. The pastilles contain both xylitol and calcium, working together to strengthen the teeth's enamel. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol and it has the properties to reduce amount of streptococcus mutans bacteria in the plaque and saliva and thus xylitol hinder dental caries. Xylitol can be used as a sugar substitute because it is as sweet as normal candy sugar. Xylitol has also a low glycemic index so people with diabetes may use it.

Xylitol Usage

Use 1 to 2 pastilles after snacks or meal. The recommended daily intake is 5 g of xylitol which means 6 pastilles. One pastille contains approx. 800 mg of xylitol. In 100 g package there will be about 120 pastilles which mean 120 snacks or meal.

-Cardboard tubes (75 - 100 g), re-sealable DoyPack (100 g) or plastic jar 30 - 150 g (50 – 200 ml). Label is printed on sticker with four colour printing.
