Dry mouth often harms quality of life or is bad for teeth. Xerostomia or dry mouth happens when there is not enough saliva in the mouth or the viscosity of saliva is too thick. Dry mouth xylitol pastilles, or lozenges, are made to relieve dry mouth symptoms. Dry mouth xylitol lozenges contain xylitol (750mg), malic acid, betaine, calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate to relieve dry mouth symptoms and strengthen tooth enamel. Xylitol together with malic acid increase salivation and thus help to increase the mucous layer in the mouth.
Xylitol pastilles also contain calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate which promote the welfare of teeth and adjust the pH of pastilles. Betaine is known to relieve several subjective symptoms of dry mouth.
There are five different flavour options: Bilberry, Blackcurrant, Mint-Menthol, Apple and Sea-buckthorn.
The product belongs to the following bundles:

Dry mouth is a common condition that can lead to pain, tingling, and difficulty eating and speaking. It occurs when the salivary glands do not produce enough saliva, which can be caused by aging, medications, diseases, and other factors.
Saliva plays a crucial role in maintaining oral health. It cleanses and rinses the mouth, prevents microbes from adhering to mucous membranes, and has antimicrobial properties. Saliva also helps with food digestion and contains enzymes that break down nutrients.
To alleviate dry mouth symptoms, it's important to maintain good dental hygiene, avoid alcohol and coffee consumption, and drink water regularly. Xylitol and other dry mouth products can also provide relief. Swishing an aqueous solution of canola oil in the mouth or sucking on ice cubes can moisturize the oral mucous membranes and stimulate salivary glands.
If dry mouth is caused by medication, it's important to consult with healthcare professionals to find a suitable drug that does not decrease salivation. Regular dental checkups and home care are also crucial in managing dry mouth.
