Sea buckthorn, black currant, lingonberry and blueberry juice powder are combined with 100% xylitol. Wood-based xylitol is made in Finland. Xylitol can be used to replace sugar in foods.

Xylitol combined with Finnish berries makes it tasty to use as a sweetener for example on top of desserts. Xylitol powder can also be used in baking, but please note that yeast cannot use xylitol as nutrition, so a dough with yeast will not rise when xylitol is used. Sea buckthorn, wild blueberry, lingonberry and blackcurrant xylitol blends are made from Finnish berry powders.

Berry powders are 95% Xylitol and 5% berry juice powder.
Perfect for sprinkling on yoghurt, cereal, or fruit. Use it in baking (though adjust recipes as yeast doesn't utilize Xylitol for rising).

Xylitol is manufactured in Kotka Finland.

The particle size of the xylitol is approximately the same as in regular sugar, which gives the xylitol powder an excellent flowability and easy handling.

Please note that excessive use of xylitol can have laxative effects. If diarrhea occurs, reduce the daily dose or discontinue use.

All the raw materials used are of vegetable origin and xylitol is wood based. Xylitol from wood pulping side streams has a much smaller carbon footprint than xylitol produced from corn or rice as the raw material. Wood based xylitol has 90 % lower energy and materials consumption than such conventional processes having a low carbon emission value.

Usage: Xylitol sweetness is about the same as with regular sugar. The recommended single dose is about one teaspoon. Excessive use can have laxative effects. Store dry and at room temperature.
